Following heated recent debate in Switzerland about its status as a neutral country, in this work I am beginning to explore whether neutrality is still relevant in an entangled world. Working with a fir-needle based developer and experimenting with different pHs of chemical solution, I collaborate with nature and photographic chemistry to discover what neutrality might look like.
Among the subjects I am looking at currently are the Alpine landscape and the number of 'false' barns, rocks and other structures which are remnants of Switzerland's self-defence system.
