Somewhere Else
Part of ongoing experimentation with film, looking at folding together elements of time, space and reality within the photograph’s frame.
More than ever, I am aware of being a very small part of the universe. We humans are not observers of the world, we are caught up in its ebbs and flows. Control is an illusion. There is no way to disentangle the human from the natural.
I wanted to know what would happen if I brought two things together by chance. I discovered an explosion of questions. Something that could be a beginning or an end. A sublime moment of stillness where I’m standing on the edge of a reality and watching it remake itself.
